Basic Info BioThe blog of a Jewish Gipsy living in Toronto.
Born and brought up in Moscow.
Taught at Moscow State University, but somehow in 2006 found my way to Toronto. (and love it here)
Before my big move, I was planning to do Ph.D. in Jewish studies, specialising in post-Holocaust Jewish community of Berlin.
But ended up working in and studying accounting.
and actually quite love it.
Was a member of LRS for a bit (Local Reconstructionist shul) :)
But found my way to LCS (Local Conservative Shul) and amazingly still there :)
A volunteer with Bernard Betel Centre.
Travelled extensively in Europe.
A proud owner of two cats.
An avid dancer.
And a wine drinker. :)
Am a firm believer that we are the ones, who shape our lives, and we aren't allowed to complain unless we have tried everything to achieve our goals.
My motto is: We should be the change we are looking for. (M.Ghandi)
